Education is the foundation of lasting change. NARIDE's education programme focuses on creating an enabling environment for all children — especially girls — to access quality education, while rehabilitating infrastructure and embedding child protection values in the communities we serve.

Programme Goal

To contribute towards rehabilitation of education infrastructure and skills development for resource-constrained rural communities.

    Provision of support to girl children both in and out of school to enable them acquire an adequate level of education and training.

    Rehabilitation of educational infrastructure across resource-constrained communities.

    Facilitating the creation of a conducive, learning environment for in-school children through the promotion of school gardening activities.

    Promotion of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in schools.

    Child protection through promotion of children's rights and participation in decision making.

    Engaging school children in environmental conservation — tree planting and climate change response activities.

    Training of teachers and school management on inclusive and child-friendly approaches.

    Linking education programs to livelihoods and skills for out-of-school youth.
