About NARIDE
Nabulwa Rural Initiative for Development — dedicated to fostering sustainable development and socio-economic transformation in Uganda.
Why NARIDE?
NABULWA RURAL INITIATIVE FOR DEVELOPMENT (NARIDE) is a registered Non-Profit Organization that embraces all people irrespective of their religious, political and racial affiliations. It was born out of the conviction and desire of the members to respond and contribute towards Socio-Economic transformation and development of rural communities in Uganda through promoting equal opportunities to communities.
The main aim of NARIDE is to alleviate human suffering by empowering vulnerable households in Uganda to overcome vulnerability and poverty through promotion of quality education, gender equality, health, good leadership, sustainable agriculture (for food security and incomes), healthcare promotion, environmental protection, entrepreneurship development, lobbying and advocacy, among others.
NARIDE aims at focusing its operations to cover all Districts in Uganda where the population has suffered effects of civil strife, poor public service delivery, discrimination, oppression, marginalization, and natural disasters such as floods, drought, pests and disease outbreaks. We aspire to see healthy and economically empowered and self-reliant people of God.
